Our Russian tour started at DFW to Frankfurt, Germany, with a couple of hours layover, then onto St. Petersburg,
Russia. We were picked up at the airport and taken to a river boat that would be our home
away from home for almost two weeks. After a few days in St. Petersburg with sightseeing tours of the Palaces,
gardens, Cathedrals, and an evening at the Russian Ballet, we cruised up the river towards Moscow,
going through 20 plus locks on the way. Stops were made on the river every day to visit the cities and villages
along the way. When we arrived in Moscow, we toured the Kremlin, Red Square, and were guests at the Moscow world famous
circus. When it was time to leave, a bus carried us to the airport at Moscow, going via Frankfurt back to DFW.
A super vacation!
